I have bad childhood memories of that. One teacher when I first moved here she literally gave me back assignments and homework and had crossed out my name and spelled it 'correctly' as she called it, Eva. This was 3rd grade but come on I knew how to spell my name.

All good things to consider while I work on finishing my first book.Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06122803397688591111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8137437789561707142.post-4803327601421293852012-01-11T18:00:50.534-05:002012-01-11T18:00:50.534-05:00I like Kayla, but I like Eve too. What about 'Eva' even? Or, like so many others have suggested today, force people to learn how to say your actual name. People like Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Ioan Gruffudd did. =) If you do decide to change it I like Eve. M Blair. It has a nice ring to it =)Jaime Morrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023932422477544525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8137437789561707142.post-73178593772576206192012-01-11T14:33:54.989-05:002012-01-11T14:33:54.989-05:00OK, I confess, I laughed at the "Mother of Al...OK, I confess, I laughed at the "Mother of All Living"--sorry. But it is kind of cute.

Alright, now that you hate me forever, I would choose Kayla Blair over Chloe Blair. But I agree with Elodie :) that Eve is a perfectly nice name, and you shouldn't be afraid to use it. Have you considered perhaps tweaking your real name: Eve Langelle--give it more of a French sound. I think most people can better guess the pronunciation of Langelle than Langell.

There's my 2 cents. :)Colin Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292997431935215499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8137437789561707142.post-83337615189075766482012-01-11T14:06:24.684-05:002012-01-11T14:06:24.684-05:00I like the name Chloe but Eve is a lovely one as w...I like the name Chloe but Eve is a lovely one as well :-)
It must not have been easy every day but it looks like you´ve made your peace with it :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
