Top Ten Tuesday: Retellings Everyone Should Read!


                Hello everyone!  Top Ten Tuesday is just how it sounds, a topic is picked and we put our Top Ten for that in a post and share and check out everyone’s answers.  Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

  1. Ohh I like your list !! I love fairy-tale retellings :) I love The Lunar Chronicles and The Wrath and the Dawn was just beautiful.. I don't know all of them.. so thanks for the recommendations !!

  5. I have The Shadow Queen out from the library right now. Hoping to get to it soon. I still need to get to the rest of the Lunar Chronicles series. Great list!

  6. This is a great list! I have read and loved most of these, which makes me think that I need to check out the few that I haven't gotten to yet! i love fairy tale retellings :) great list!

  7. I'm not really big on retellings,I think I've only read one...But this year I do want to start reading more. Thanks for this list, my TBR is growing! :D

  8. Several of these are on my TBR, the only ones I've read are Cinder and ACOTAR and I wasn't overly keen on either of those, but they piqued my interest enough to read the sequels, so hopefully those will be better.

  11. Retellings are the best, I love them so much. The Wrath and the Dawn is so good and the Lunar Chronicles is such a fun series. Great list this week!

  12. This is an unusual and interesting approach to the topic. Someone could probably put together a list of retellings/spinoffs of Pride and Prejudice alone! My TTT.

  14. I love retellings, but haven't necessarily read a ton of them! Mine always seem to be more extremely loosely based retellings (like Broken by Lauren Layne which is sort of Beauty and the Beast-esque, and Secret Catch by Cassie Mae and Jessica Salyer which has a very faint Romeo and Juliet feel). I'll have to check some of these out, I've heard fantastic things about the first 3 on your list!
