Hello
everyone! Top Ten Tuesday is just how it
sounds, a topic is picked and we put our Top Ten for that in a post and share
and check out everyone’s answers. Top
Ten Tuesday is now being hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
The top ten today is: Books that have
been on my TBR the LONGEST that I still haven’t read
Infinity (Nick Chronicles # 1) by Sherrilyn
Kenyon- I liked the sound of it when I first got into reading again and even
found the first five on sale
Tiger’sCurse (The Tiger Saga #1) by
Colleen Houck- a friend at the time recommended them to me as they were reading
the newest one at the time as we tailgated one of the last Harry Potter
movies.
Night World bind up by L.J. Smith- I was hit or miss with some of the other books by her
but these sounded fun.
Prophecy ofSisters (Prophecy of Sisters #1) by Michelle Zink- I got the first one when I was first getting
into reading when I saw it next to another book I liked at the time and was at
a box store so it was cheaper than some places and it sounded different.
White Cat (Curse Workers #1) by Holly Black- the
cover wasn’t the best but I saw it with another book and it was at a cheaper
price so I figured I’d dive in.
Matched (Matched #1) by Ally Condie- The cover
drew me in and I liked the sound of it.
Fated (The Soul Seekers #1) by Alyson Noel- I
was really into her other series and her stand-alone pieces.
Sweet Evil (Sweet #1) by Wendy Higgins- These were
mentioned in another series I was absolutely in love with at the time of
reading it so of course I had to get it
The Summoning (Darkest Powers #1) by
Kelley Armstrong- I don’t even remember but it was probably the pretty necklace
on the cover lol
TheLightning Thief (Percy Jackson and
the Olympians #1) by Rick Riordan- I really liked the movie and I have
always enjoyed mythology so yeah it seemed like a win. I have been meaning to read them every year
but I just never get to it…
Ahhhh I love White Cat <3 Cassel is so fun to follow!
ReplyDeleteI do hope to get into that series and more of Blacks work asap
DeleteI haven't read any of the Percy Jackson books, but I would love to! Great list!

I am hoping that 2018 is my year to read this series!!!
DeleteI have read most of them, but I want to read White Cat too!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we both get it off the TBR and to the read shelf soon!
DeleteI got my hands on a cheap copy of Invincible a while ago and then recently on Infinity as well! So I can actually read them now, haha. I'm curious to see how it goes since there are a lot of books in those series!
ReplyDeleteSomeone recommended Tiger's Curse to me a while ago but I haven't checked those out yet. They do sound interesting though.. Hm. Should look into that again but maybe wait until my TBR has.. cleared a.. bit?
I totally binged the Percy Jackson-series last Summer, haha! Think I read all five those books in about a week time or something. Definitely a fun read. :)
That is what I am hoping to do with PJ this year!
DeleteI've read a few of these! I started the Matched series, Darkest Powers, and the Sweet trilogy but have not finished any of the series and still have the last book in all three to read. lol I have a terrible habit of doing that. I hope you finally get to read some of these soon!
ReplyDeleteI know and I want to finish so many series this year so I have them completed!
DeleteMatched should have made my list too! That one has been on my shelf for what seems like, a looong time. I'm not sure if ever I'll read it now, but as they say, never say never. :D
ReplyDeleteAppreciate you visiting Finding Wonderland.
I still want to read these and I have been lucky enough to avoid any spoilers.
DeleteI love the Percy Jackson books, so much fun! I have Matched on my shelf but I'm not really interested in reading it, I got it free in a book swap.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2018/02/06/top-ten-tuesday-145/
I hope I will get both of them finished in the near future! One can hope!
DeleteI'd really like to read the Percy Jackson series as well. I have them all, and I just need to read them. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteSee I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't read them yet!
DeleteI've read Night World, Matched and Fated but can't remember pretty much anything but I loved the lightning thief!
ReplyDeleteHaha looks like I have a lot to read :)
DeleteI read the first couple of Percy Jackson books a couple of years ago and really enjoyed them. I really ought to finish that series. I hope you get an opportunity to read The Lighting Thief soon!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we will both get to finish PJ this year!
DeleteI'm reading the Percy Jackson series for the first time with my son. We're liking it so far, but I think it could do a better job at explaining the mythology.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are enjoying them!
DeleteI have read Matched but it's been a while and I don't think I ever finished the trilogy. I can't remember anything about it even. I have also read Sweet Evil but highly disliked it (YA angel books aren't my thing). I did love the Darkest Powers trilogy, though. It was AMAZING! And of the Percy Jackson books I have read the first three books which were pretty good. I should really continue the series... :)
ReplyDeleteSorry you didn't like the one. I am excited to dive into some of these maybe 2018 will be the year!
DeleteGreat list! I absolutely LOVED the curse workers series (White Cat) you should totally read them RIGHT AWAY because Holly Black is QUEEN! And as for Percy Jackson; love love LOVE! Tbh the movies were completely horrible compared to the books so hopefully if you really liked the movies, you'll love x100000000000 the movies :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOMG that's awesome for the movie since I did like them and I've heard that before too. So I'm excited. They are top on my list and Curse Workers are working on up behind them!
DeleteOkay, so basically all of those have been on my TBR forever as well. The only one I've read is The Summoning, and it was really really good.
ReplyDeleteHere's our TTT: http://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2018/02/top-ten-tuesday-top-ten-oldest-series.html
See this is what happens I buy books and then I buy more before I read the ones i have and it's a cycle...
DeleteGuess what? We have quite a few in common this week...I figured we would lol
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I know I smell some read-alongs in the future...
DeleteI've read matched and Percy Jackson ... but a lot of these I hadn't even heard of!
ReplyDeleteI know I forgot I even had some of these sitting on my shelf how sad because they all look good.
DeleteTiger's Curse! Holy smokes, I LOVED that book as a kid. I barely remember it now, but when I saw the cover, it totally came rushing back, haha! I hope it's as good as I thought it was when I was younger! And I'm currently working on the Percy Jackson series, which I just started not long ago. I really love it so far!
ReplyDeleteYes I am hoping they all live up. Apparently a new book in Tigers Curse comes out this year so I could catch up lol
DeleteOh Percy Jackson is so much better than the movies! I really enjoyed The Summoning, the whole trilogy in fact. I hope you will too.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too! I am getting excited to start these the more I hear how people loved them!
DeleteI haven`t read any of Rick Riordan`s books, but I do want to pick them up in the near future. So many people rave about them. Good luck with your reading!
ReplyDeleteCarmen`s Reading Corner
I know same here I want to read with everyone else but catching up has been intimidating but thankfully they are shorter/smaller books so I am confident!
DeleteThe only one I have read is Matched, but I liked it! Sweet Evil just recently got kicked off my list but had been there for AGES. Hope you get to read these soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear it got kicked off. I can't wait to get to all of these beauties!
