Hello
everyone! Top Ten Tuesday is just how it
sounds, a topic is picked and we put our Top Ten for that in a post and share
and check out everyone’s answers. Top
Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
The top ten today is: Books I enjoyed that have under 2000 ratings on Goodreads
So for this one
I had a ton of books to pick but I went ahead and skipped any book that came
out so far in 2016 since it is still a new and instead going for books that
came out before 2016. *Also a day late I just noticed that it was ratings not reviews and a couple of these I was looking at reviews instead of ratings so my apologizes for the mix up.
Wilde's Fire
(Darkenss Falls #1) by Krystal Wade- I love this trilogy! They are so much fun to me and I was completely
caught up in them and never wanted them to end. (review)
The Holders
(Holders #1) by Julianna Scott- So there are two books in this series so far
and it's being held up for a new book last I checked because of the publishing
company changing or something of that nature but I still want another book I
still remember all the important bits so well and plus the lead hunk is Irish
so imagining that accent when reading…or when he's speaking Gaelic…..yep (review)
Running onEmpty by Colette Ballard- This book was such a good story of friendship and
figuring out how to come back from mistakes.
It also encompasses small town politics perfectly. (review)
Thorn by
Intisar Khanani- This one is a retelling of the Goose Girl story. It's different and unite for me and as I was
unfamiliar with the original it brought a new story to my life. (review)*
Air Awakens
(Air Awakes #1) by Elise Kova- Okay so I'm behind in this series but the first
two books were so amazing, the second one just wrecked me emotionally and I had
to take a small break to recover before moving on and then life got crazy but I
am recovered and ready to continue on. (review)*
Outspoken by
Lora Richardson- A cute coming of age book about becoming your full self and
standing up for that person. (review)
Threats of Skyand Sea (Threats of Sky and Sea #1) by Jennifer Ellision- A different fantasy
book that focuses on elements and such for the magic that held my attention and
kept me on the edge of my seat through to the end. I am looking forward to continuing on. (review)
Becoming Alpha
(Alpha Girl #1) by Aileen Erin- I talk about this series all the time so it
shouldn't come as a surprise that it made the list. I adore this series so much they are super
quick to fly through and they are so much fun and manage to accomplish so much
inside the pages. Plus Dastien….enough
said. His and Tessas connection is just
so much fun to read. (review)*
Angelbound
(Angelbound #1) by Christina Bauer- Like
the above series I talk about these all the time. I just love them. They are so much fun and Myla is such a kick
ass female lead I adore her. And Lincoln….just saying he's yummy too! (review)*
Frostbitten by
Heather Beck- This was a cute quick read that I haven't seen anyone else I know
read. (review)
Tell me what
you think of my list in the comments below.
Which would you recommend so I know which ones to get first? Also please link back to your Top Ten as well
so I can check out your list and see what I missed!
I've not heard of any of these books but I think I'll be checking out Threats of Sky and Sea - I like stories that feature the elements.
ReplyDeleteMy Top Ten Underappreciated Books.
This weeks is like always bringing new books to my attention as well. I hope you enjoy Threats of Sky and Sea!
DeleteI really love Air Awakens! I have only read the first book due to my procrastinating nature, but I really need to catch up on the rest before Crystal Crowned is published.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite underrated books is The Midnight Sea by Kat Ross. I love the fantasy setting and the characters are all so amazing! You should definitely pick it up too.
My Top Ten Tuesday!
I will have to go over and add it to my TBR/Wish list now so I can work on that. And yeah I procrastinate as well.
DeleteI need to read Air Awakens! Plus, Angelbound looks interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT and my current international giveaway.
They are lots of fun and if you do pick them up I hope you will enjoy!
DeleteI am surprised that Thorn has so few ratings. I thought it had good buzz when it came out. I haven't read it yet, but its on the wishlist.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-6/
I know I went through my Goodreads read list and started picking tons of books thinking most of them wouldn't fit the ratings but I was shocked at how few some have!
DeleteI wonder after everyone doing this TTT theme how many of these books will see a bump. I've seen several of the same books mentioned in multiple blogs.
