Happy to help! I've finished a few recently and just had them on my mind so it fell into place!
DeleteThis is a great list! I really need to read more retelling! They seem like Tue big trend right right now!
ReplyDeleteStacy Renee @ Lazy Day Literature
I've been seeing a lot of Fantasy, which most of these are under as well, but it was a different way to take it!
DeleteWho knew there were so many retellings? Thanks for sharing these!

I know and looking through there are so many more that I have read and tons more I haven't gotten to yet!
DeleteI love fairy tale retellings, and I've read a lot on your list. But I'll be checking out the others too!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I hope you enjoy them!
DeleteI have The Shadow Queen out from the library right now. Hoping to get to it soon. I still need to get to the rest of the Lunar Chronicles series. Great list!
ReplyDeleteGasp! Yes finish the Lunar Chronicles! LOVED them! Hope you enjoy Shadow Queen, aren't the end pages beautiful!
DeleteThis is a great list! I have read and loved most of these, which makes me think that I need to check out the few that I haven't gotten to yet! i love fairy tale retellings :) great list!
ReplyDeletehere's my TTT!
I hope you enjoy the new ones you've discovered!
DeleteI'm not really big on retellings,I think I've only read one...But this year I do want to start reading more. Thanks for this list, my TBR is growing! :D
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
They aren't for everyone but they can be a lot of fun!
DeleteSeveral of these are on my TBR, the only ones I've read are Cinder and ACOTAR and I wasn't overly keen on either of those, but they piqued my interest enough to read the sequels, so hopefully those will be better.

I hope you enjoy more as the series go on!
DeleteYES!! I adore retellings and I've read several of these! Cruel Beauty and ACOTAR are two of my favorites! :D
ReplyDeleteHere are my Top Ten!
Hehe Beauty & the Beast is never wrong!
DeleteI love retellings but for some reason don't read them a lot. These look pretty good so maybe I'll pick them up soon. Awesome picks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! And yeah I have a ton of some books in different categories I mean to read more of but....don't for some reason. Good luck to us both in doing better!
DeleteRetellings are the best, I love them so much. The Wrath and the Dawn is so good and the Lunar Chronicles is such a fun series. Great list this week!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm counting down the day to the Rose and the Dagger! After finishing the audiobook I was in shock and needed more!
DeleteThis is an unusual and interesting approach to the topic. Someone could probably put together a list of retellings/spinoffs of Pride and Prejudice alone! My TTT.
ReplyDeleteThis is very true! I could have probably did one list on each (B&B, Snow, Cinderella, etc) if I really thought about it :)
DeleteI'm happy to see Thorn on the list. I loved that book. I totally agree with your other choices, too. I love a good retelling! Great list!
ReplyDeleteI know it was one of those titles I didn't know much about going into it but it was such a good read!
DeleteI love retellings, but haven't necessarily read a ton of them! Mine always seem to be more extremely loosely based retellings (like Broken by Lauren Layne which is sort of Beauty and the Beast-esque, and Secret Catch by Cassie Mae and Jessica Salyer which has a very faint Romeo and Juliet feel). I'll have to check some of these out, I've heard fantastic things about the first 3 on your list!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
Yes there are even more of those out there as well! The list can be never ending!
