Hello
everyone! Top Ten Tuesday is just how it
sounds, a topic is picked and we put our Top Ten for that in a post and share
and check out everyone’s answers. Top
Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Also wanted to announce the winner to The Winner's Kiss Giveaway is: Amanda! Congrats and look for the e-mail!
The top ten today is: A Freebie so I went with…TV shows I wish hadn't ended
I don't normally talk TV shows I try to stay on bookish topic but sigh I was always bad at making decisions.
Moonlight- Why?
It was so good stupid writers strike messing with it.
Firefly-No idea why this was ever taken off but
clearly it was a mistake.
Veronica Mars- The promo/look into what would have
been Season 4 was amazing! While I’m
happy to have the movie and the following books still.
Merlin- This show was so much fun and I was sad to
see it go.
Eureka- There was still so much that could have
happened in this world!
Leverage- More heists could have taken place! Even if they just picked up where they left
off and added new members to the team
Leverage 2.0
Tru Calling- I liked this one and recently watched
a few episodes and still get the theme song stuck in my head.
Burn Notice- This show is one of the main reasons
I am probably on some terror watch list because it would describe things and it
sounded so legit I of course would then google it just for kicks….
Lie to Me- I found this after it ended but I had
so much fun marathoning it.
Buffy- Another show I watched post ending and as
it had a long run it fell into the scope of things but still it was sad to come
to the end.
Special note just ended:
Person of Interest- I had some warning about this
one as it was stated it was the last season but still
Castle- I found out it was canceled as I was
watching what I thought was the season finale and it turned into the series
finale L
Tell me what you think of my list in the
comments below. Which would you
recommend so I know which ones to get first?
Also please link back to your Top Ten as well so I can check out your
list and see what I missed!
I completely forgot about Moonlight. I don't think I even saw the ending, thank you! *runs to add it to the list of series to re-watch*
ReplyDeleteI hated the news about Castle too. I was hoping it would continue even with Becket leaving but noooooooo.... It was the only show I kept track off, now I feel sad.
There is always the big bang theory... but is not the same.
I didn't know she was leaving. I was so completely caught off guard by it. And yes OMG Moonlight is my baby. I hope you get to finish up the show and see where it left off.
DeleteVeronica Mars!!! thank goodness we have that awesomeness that is the movie!
ReplyDeleteMerlin too, though I have to finish that last season. I just don't want it to end!
LOL I hear you there. And yes the movie was amazing the whole time I was telling my friend some aspects that must be in it....the theme song, some "need a favor" from Wallace, and of course Logan!
DeleteI was sad to see Merlin go too!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2016/06/28/top-ten-tuesday-63/
I know I could have seen that going on so much longer.
DeleteFirefly, Firefly, Firefly... but also The Good Guys (a new favorite for me,) Dollhouse, Space Above and Beyond, Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles, Dark Angel, Starhunter... basically I am a sucker for short lived Sci-fi shows. Thanks for the list.
ReplyDeleteI did my Top Ten Tues freebie week on the most frustrating characters ever: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-5/
Oh I liked Dollhouse too! I think they might have lasted longer if they had more episodes that people could jump in on, after a certain part it was less about being a doll and what happens and more about the overall big picture which was cool but people couldn't pick it up lol
DeleteSo. Many. Good. Shows.
ReplyDeleteVeronica Mars is a wonderful "noir" kind of cult classic; Castle is fun and romantic; Lie To Me SO clever; Burn Notice was crazy good although I wish it hadn't because exclusively entangled in Michael's thirst for revenge; and Leverage? Well, it only improved each season (plus Parker was hilarious).
Thanks for visiting Finding Wonderland, Eve. :)
I know right Parker was my favorite and since with that ending a spin-off or continuation could have totally worked out! Just saying!
