  1. I've seen a few of these on various blogs but I've never read any of them. Glad you're having a year so far of books you've loved!

    1. Yes some of these are super popular and others a bit more obscure but I loved them all!

    1. She's one of my favorites as well! I do highly recommend the first in the Loom Saga, I'm saving my audible credit for the release of book 2 which hopefully will be available on audible the same day as the regular book next month!

  5. I got Daughter of a Pirate King in a subscription box a while back but haven't read it yet. Glad to see it make your list. I'm thinking of just asking for all the ACOTAR books for Christmas this year (Mr. Barb always asks for a list). I read the first one and didn't love it but the end redeemed itself and I do want to read the other two. I'll need to re-read the first though. Glad you enjoyed Moon Chosen. I think it's still probably my favorite cover ever - or at least in the top 3. It caused a huge reading slump for me but I do want to continue on. I love the animal element of the series so much I can't resist. Great list!

    1. I listened to the audiobook and it was pretty awesome that way. I've found since discovering audiobooks if I am not getting into a book, especially a fantasy type story, if i give it a listen it gets me into it fast since I can focus on listening and visualizing and not trying to figure out names and such. And yes the ACOTAR series is amazing ACOMAF gets so so much better!

  6. I'm so jealous you're caught up on everything SJM. I have read ACOWAR recently and loved it but I still need to read Queen of Shadows and Empire of Storms. I just can't seem to get around to it.

    1. I was behind but then once I started listening to the audiobooks and didn't have to haul the MASSIVE books around, I mean holding them up was a bit difficult for long reading sprints, I flew through and caught up like that!

  7. A Court of Mist and Fury and Daughter of The Pirate King were on my list this week too. 4 SJM books in one year? I am impressed at your speed!
