Can't
Wait Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Wishful Endings. Waiting on Wednesday has been don for some
time so I am switching it up for now!
Basically books that are not yet out that we are dying to get our hands
on. This week’s pick is:
The Crescent Stone (The Sunlit Lands #1) by Matt Mikalatos
Out: 8/7
From
Goodreads:
Madeline,
a teenager with terminal lung disease, meets a mysterious stranger who offers
to heal her in exchange for one year of service in his world, the Sunlit
Lands. Madeline and her friend Jason
travel to the Sunlit Lands to work for the Elenil people. There is much to discover and enjoy as
privleged members of the fantastical Elenil society, but Madeline and Jason
soon learn that magic must be bought at a high price.
Why I’m
Waiting:
The cover first caught my eye and I like the
idea of deals and hidden worlds of magic.
I’m curious to see how this will play out!
